Location

The 2015 Southern California Simulations in Science Conference will be located in Corwin Pavilion at the University of California Santa Barbara.  The campus is few minutes north of the city of Santa Barbara, only 92 miles north of Los Angeles. With the recently improved Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) just next door to the campus, UCSB is easy to reach by air.

Guests are advised to purchase a parking permit in Lot 22 and walk to Corwin Pavilion. A map of the campus can be found here:

From the South:  Take US101 North through Santa Barbara, look for the Route 217/Airport exit, take that - once on 217 stay in left lane towards UCSB (not airport, which is right exit).  This ends in a traffic circle inside of UCSB.  Bear right, following Mesa Road all the way around campus to lot 22.

From the North:  Take US101 South to Los Carneros.   Take Los Carneros Rd. south (right turn) until it ends in a T intersection at El Collegio Rd .  Turn Left, and follow it for about a mile until you enter the campus.  Then turn right on Ocean Road at the traffic light (next to student health building) to go to lot 22

How to get from Structure 22 to Corwin Pavilion:

Walk along the path indicated, it's a wide sidewalk.  Look for Storke Tower (a tall bell tower - the tallest structure on campus).  Turn right after the tower, and you'll be at the University Center (student union).  Corwin is on the left end of the building (look for signs)
