Visa Information

Participants who require a visa to enter the United States (see visa waiver program link below for exceptions) are encouraged to start the application process at least 6 months before the conference. Due to increasing delays in securing visas to the United States, prospective international attendees should begin this process as early as possible to ensure approval.

Whether or not you need a visa to enter the United States, it would be helpful to provide the following information to the U.S. Immigration authorities:

  • Purpose of visit: Advances in Organic Materials Symposium
  • Conference dates: January 7-8, 2011
  • Note: it should be made clear that this is not an employment situation.

Letter of Intent

The Symposium Coordinator can provide qualified participants with a letter confirming their intent to attend the Advances in Organic Materials Symposium, January 7-8, 2011.
